Dr. Malgorzata Sulimierska, Senior Lecturer in Banking and FinTech (Accounting and Finance) discusses how the talent of the future (students) are exploring and researching the evolving technologies and innovative practices shaping the financial services industry today.

Dr. Sulimierska also discusses the new ‘FinTech’ programme at the University, which was launched last year. “When I was developing this course, it became essential to teach [coding] as early as possible. In order to communicate you have to read, you have to talk, but you have to code. It is another language for us to communicate. We always make sure that our students will have that skill, not only so they will become software engineers, but to actually understand the part of the business that these software engineering skills are related to,” says Dr. Sulimierska.
