The Fintech Talents team, along with our partners at Marqeta, set off on an epic road trip to explore growing European fintech hubs. Three cities in one week – Paris, Stockholm and Berlin – yielded fantastic insight and the opportunity to speak to leading innovators along the way.
During the Berlin stop of the Fintech Talents Road Trip, we spoke with Sacha Cayre, the Chief Marketing Officer at Silvr to get his thoughts on current fintech innovation and future trends to look out for in the industry.
Sacha flagged AI as a key innovation to highlight. Everybody seems to be talking about it and how it can change how we build content, how we build code and how we can potentially progress much faster when it comes to implementation.
He explains how Silvr are exploring AI in a measured way in order to incrementally build on their engine and also build connections to other platforms.
Although they plan to use AI, they are cautious when it comes to its adoption. Sacha explains, Silvr are focussed on building trust with their users and ensuring that the underwriting and core structure is as built up as it can be without necessarily depending on AI. This then allows them to utilise AI in other ways without being fully reliant on it, such as to help run faster in their development, content or marketing strategies.
When it comes to future trends, Sacha believes the world of embedded finance and the way that it is evolving the customer experience is something to look out for. He goes on to explain how digitalisation and fintech in general created the promise of a novel experience. In a previous world, that could often be built up by one company. But in the embedded world, these are brought together by several companies, building new experiences or products in a co-located, co-created and co-branded way.
Silvr is the leading financial provider for digital entrepreneurs in Europe, empowering entrepreneurs by building a world where funding is easy to access, scalable, and equity-free.
