The Fintech Talents team, along with our partners at Marqeta, set off on an epic road trip to explore growing European fintech hubs. Three cities in one week – Paris, Stockholm and Berlin – yielded fantastic insight and the opportunity to speak to leading innovators along the way.
During the Stockholm stop of the Fintech Talents Road Trip, Anette Andersson, Senior Sustainability Investment Specialist at SEB, shared her thoughts on how sustainable investments have moved away from “tree-hugging” to actually creating value. The more open use of API’s has allowed for SEB to access data in a more structured way without the need to work with multiple partners.
Anette touches upon the importance of partnerships and how with the merger of an established bank’s list of clients and the innovative fintech technology, we can start to set a faster pace for more established products to enter the market.
SEB is the leading Nordic corporate bank and has recently been listed as one of the world’s five most innovative banks of 2023, Anette mentions how they have progressed to become more of a tech company than a bank and it shows!
