We recently hosted FTT Embedded Finance & Super Apps, a live event exploring the technologies, innovations and trends re-defining the future of how financial services are crafted and distributed. A huge community of innovators and industry leaders, including retailers, manufacturers, financial institutions, insurers, telcos, fintechs and tech providers came together, offering a unique diversity of viewpoints on embedded finance across different verticals.
Lisa Moyle, our Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder, took the opportunity to interview Eddie Robb, Commercial Director of Zumo Enterprise.
Zumo Enterprise is the intelligent, embedded crypto solution, fully regulated in the UK. It allows fintech and financial institutions to effortlessly embed crypto in their existing infrastructure and meet the demands of modern customers. Its plug-and-play solution offers a fast, flexible, low-barrier, and UK compliant route to market, empowering fintech, banks, and payment providers to bring their consumers the tools of the future simply and securely while opening new revenue streams, attracting new customers and supporting customer retention.
In this exclusive interview, Eddie and Lisa explore the opportunity for crypto within embedded finance, discussing how the Zumo Enterprise is helping fintechs and banks in the UK to embed crypto solutions into their existing offerings, as well the broader opportunities in the market.
“The crypto market is getting bigger and bigger, and we are finding more and more banks and fintechs looking for ways to get into that market in a secure way; with a trusted technology provider, and that is where we step in.” He explains Zumo Enterprise’s offerings: “Crypto invest is the way to dip your toe in the water, to test whether their customer base is interested in it, and then, they can expand using our other services.”
When talking about crypto regulation he explains “It is one of the big, big, question marks, or big grey areas. On our direct-to-consumer side of the business, it is fully regulated” Eddie adds that Zumo Enterprise offerings include KYC processes audit, as well as ensuring that all processes are compliant before their customers can start accessing crypto.
Crypto can seem a bit intimidating and complex for the uninitiated, and Zumo Enterprise helps overcome those barriers by offering more consumer-friendly solutions, such as crypto investment, or a new yielding solution, as well as getting involved in NFTs. Zumo Enterprise has a lot of experience in educating a user base and, in the crypto world, that is something a lot of their clients are looking for.
