In this exclusive interview, sales director Bob Koster, “The key advantages with AI and specifically machine learning or entity recognition is that we can filter out specific topics or entities popping up in specific areas of data, in our case a lot of the news, without having to predefine those,” says Koster.

“As the technology is still developing we often advise our clients to combine that with NLP or natural language processing, which is more to predefined entities and specific themes. So that you get on one side the very precise news input on the area that you are aware of, that you want to monitor and next to that you basically get the advantages of AI with showing new trends and new developments on the areas which you haven’t defined beforehand,” he adds.
