FinTECHTalents – Reasons to be Thankful

Today is a day of Thanksgiving in the good old US of A. Many Americans will sit down to roast turkey, pumpkin pie and questionable politics. However, you do not need to be ‘American’ to find reasons to be thankful this year. So, let’s cast off worries about Brexit, forgive those times your bank took a bit of ‘downtime’ and leave annoyance at startup founder bullshit for another day. Let today be a day of Reasons to be Thankful for FinTech. 😊

Reasons to be Thankful:

  1. We are thankful for all the spontaneous posts about our launch event FinTECHTalents on Twitter and LinkedIn. Your involvement in our community inspires us.
  2. We are thankful that, currently, more than half of our sponsoring FinTech companies are coming back to join us for a bigger and better FinTECHTalents in November 2019! (call Victor or Marius to join us!)
  3. We are thankful for the Anthemis Group our founding ‘Strategic Partner’ for FinTECH4Life – the only global conference exploring the future of financial services for the world’s fastest growing and wealthiest customer segment.
  4. We are thankful for our Plexal family here at HereEast – You have been a great place to work and we will miss you so much when we move ☹ (Holborn here we come!)
  5. We are thankful for Shane’s on Canalside at HereEast – we will never find a more welcoming ‘workplace’ special for our team lunches and drinks 😊
  6. We are thankful for all our university students, our partners, our speakers and our Steering Committee – who offered us their time, support and resources to help launch FinTECHTalents to the community.
  7. We are thankful for Yahoo Finance for your blog posts about FinTECHTalents!
  8. We are thankful for Change Please! – the best coffee van in the world (especially when you do £1 coffees via Qkr!)
  9. We are thankful that there are people – all over the world – who are working in FinTech to make financial services better for everyone.
  10. We are thankful for having the chance to work with the passionate, kind, talented people here at VC Innovations!
